The comedian began to appear regularly on sketch comedy and sitcoms later in the year. She began appearing regularly in panel shows following the win of an award at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards. Between 2016 and 2017, she was a team captain for 8 Out of 10 Cats as well as a frequent participant on the spinoff 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. Her parents are Brian as well as Helen O'Sullivan. Sinead, her older sister was born. In 2012 she was the only woman to be awarded the So You Think You Are Funny award. She uses the surnamed Bea to pay tribute to her late father.
